Yeah, Warwick RI... same thing except that on a few of them it looked like the employees tried to fix them with electrical tape. I laughed inside so that I wouldn't embarrass myself.

Same in Canada.  Right next to it was a bose noise canceling display with a speaker continually outputting the noise from an airplane.  Sigh.

Seriously, how can the beats sell if every headphone on display is broken?

I can't imagine trying to sell these.. "Oh, these Solo HDs are much better than the regular Solo, Monster has made some great improvements to durability..."

Because most people are stupid and still buy crap because it's popular, not because it's good quality.

It's like going to a car dealership, driving the broken down demo model, and then buying one. Mind boggling.

Best Buy in Santa Rosa California has them all over the store, for demonstrating laptops, DJ equipment, iPods, guitars, Keyboards, etc. I'd say about 20 various pairs. Probably 75% look like OP's. And there's LINES of people waiting to try them WITHOUT pads. Cual le eff?

Yea, that is how it looks at my local BestBuy also. Right under the display is where the store-stock of Beats products are and it is completely empty...What

ive heard that beats pads are wonderful on grado mods - you can errr pick them up in all available bestbuys/
