Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 Discussion Thread

@Michial here's a pic of the cable I'm using (which doesn't have a mic or controls, though) going into the H6, I should note I'm not claiming any sonic improvements, in fact, I tend to use the stock cable with my H6 when I use the Fulla DAC/amp since it has a 3.5mm jack, but it's more convenient to use this aftermarket cable if I'm using my desktop amps with 6.3mm jacks since this particular non-mic version comes with a screw-on adapter for 6.3mm:

Thanks for the picture

Here’s my email to my local B&O Seattle store. Pricey earcups. Yikes. I wonder what the lifespan is on these if taken care of before needing to be replaced? I’d be wearing them gently for 40-50 hours a week.

Hello,

We are happy to place an order for you. Replacement Ear Cups sell for $95 a pair.

Thanks,

Ryan

Good morning,

Are you able to provide replacement earcups for the H6 Beoplay headphones? I work nearby in the University District and am hoping I can purchase a pair.

Thank you,

I know that this may have been answered earlier but, for anyone who has bought the Rapha pads, are they worth it? Are they any better than the stock H6 pads? They are so expensive to justify if they don't do much for comfort. this is the only reason I don't fully enjoy my H6's.

Thanks

Phil

Does anyone know of a cheap Chinese hard case? I have found these but the Chinese seller didn't understand my question wether it would fit with the earcups folded.

That certainly looks like it would fit.

Can you actually still get those pads somewhere?

Are the rapha pads bigger or something?

Slightly bigger, but they still fit substantially the same (semi-on-ear rather than over-ear, for me at least). They're also made out of fenestrated leather, which breathes a bit better (for the sweaty-eared) and may sound a bit different, e.g. slightly more open soundstage IIRC, although it's been a while since I compared them to the stock pads.

I have a question. I’m new to wires with this set. The last few years I’ve been wireless. There was always talk with Bluetooth about SBC and AAC on iOS devices and other codecs, and certain codecs were supported by certain Bluetooth headphones. Is that the same with wired?
