Hello,

I'm looking for a good budget value balanced DAC. Of course XLR and RCA outpout.

Have you got some to point me / recommand me please ?

From my research came :
- Xiangsheng DAC-05A @ 250
- Matrix Mini-i AD1955 @300
- Cambridge DacMagic Plus @400
- Little dot DAC_1 @ 300
And in the second hand market, for now only an "Audio-GD NFB-28". But well I'm looking for pure dac.
If you have some idea about a good DAC around 400$, please tell me. I'm not really hurried.

Thank you in advance

Regards,

Tough.....you're really only going to find USB in and TRRS / 2 x TS outputs in that price range.

Hello,

Well if the dac is good enough (an ok dap not the best) ... i'm ok :)
Some trade off must be done... By the way I prefer to have an optical in and no usb (with optical I'm sure to not disterb the signal with magnetic fields .... )

Regards,

Teac UD-301 is in that price range and maybe a used 501 can be had for that price. It has both optical and coaxial inputs.
