Hadenys are dynamic drivers, they sound like hd600 but with better bass and slam, they're so good. I do own the Arya SE as my Planar set. I'm still really interested in trying the HD550.
Yeah they are dynamic drivers but it’s a very differently designed driver than the Senns. I have the Hadenys myself, I liked them more than the S2 as well. They are definitely HD 600’ish but more dynamic and they’re one of the few open dynamics with full subbass extension. The Hadenys is my most used headphone.

I am curious to try the HD 550 and/or HD 505 myself; no idea which of those two I would prefer.

Ordered an HD550 from Best Buy, package arrived today and the seal was broken and there was a used hd599se inside. Had dandruff and hair on it. No cable inside either.

Had to contact BB support and they created a case to get my refund request approved. I took pictures and everything. So disappointing.

Outside of BB selling an opened, used item as new, what is wrong with people that they would do that? So messed up. Now the next person has to jump through hoops and try to prove they didn't swap the headphones themselves. I hope they can somehow track who did it (assuming that's unlikely)

Such a bummer.

Ugh sorry to hear about that. People can be the worst. I want to thank you for your order and hope they get it straightened out for you. Should you run into any trouble in a few more days please DM me.

Sounds like the BB worker who did that is a headphone enthusiast and had a HD599SE. I wonder if that person reads this forum. How on earth did that person think they could get away with such an act, unbelievable.

Best Buy is a good partner for us but with mass-scale systems there are always folks that try to game it. We (and other premium brands) also see a lot of fraud attempts through logistics claims but with delivery confirmation photos they are closing that loop. It's not worth a felony charge for headphones but, well, you can't teach stupidity haha.

Oh I can , but I’m not telling everyone it is the best headphone ever made buddy, I’m saying that to my ears it is the best headphone sennheiser has developed.

I come here to praise what I love because it gives me great pleasure. To each his own. I could not care less if anyone does not agree with me but I will continue to promote freely what I think is one of the best and most underrated pieces of headphone engineering ever created.
Just my subjective opinion (not a forum promoter, paid or otherwise), the mid-fi 600 series lacks soundstage and bass compared to top electrostatic and headphones with larger dynamic drivers, such as the HD800S. I’d rather have one good pair of headphones, such as my HD800S, than succumb to mid-fi dross. I briefly owned HD660S and hated the shrill treble.
