Currently I can buy the Westone 3 for around $230 from SonicElectronix, EarphoneSolutions and Amazon.com

or buy the TDK BA-200 from BHPhotoVideo for $150

Is the Westone 3 worth the $70/80 dollar upgrade? Any other earphones that are lower than $200 is better? I am look for full sound, nice clarity and a little bass boost would be nice.

I am going to be upgrading from the S4, the fit of these were a little awkward because of the curved shape and the clarity isn't fully there. Don't get me wrong though, the S4a IEMs are fairly good.

The Westone 3 may be a nice IEM but I don't really like that they are pretty much discontinued and getting rid of old stock.

The Westone 3 has a lot more bass and treble than the BA200. It's not really discontinued. It's being replaced by the W30 which is pretty much the same thing with a new cable and shell. Basically this means you can buy the W3 cheaper than usual.

Alright, I just email earphonesolutions for some deals on shure IEMs if I can get SE425 or SE535 for a good price would you recommend these over the W3?

Doubt you'd like the Shures. The 425s are pretty flat and the 535 is vocal focused with rolled off treble and not a ton of bass.

I think the shures are only 20% off, I can get the UM2 for 35% off making it for only $194 compared to Westone 3 that is discounted to $226.

I like how the UM2's cable is removable. Which one would be a better deal there?
