Have any of you blokes bought from accessoryjack.com before? I've heard mostly good things with people receiving genuine products but the fact that it comes from Hong Kong puts me off a bit.

They sure do have some ripper deals on there if they turn out to be completely legit.

i bought a z1000 from them a long time ago. They were legit then, and should still be :D

One more question and I know this isn't specific to Aussie Head-Fi but I can't find the answer anywhere else and I am sure somebody here can answer this one. Does the Burson HA-160D have trouble locking onto a 24/88.2 stream over USB? I use upsampling x2's with BitPerfect and somewhere, which I cannot find now, I think I read the HA-160D can't accept 24/88.2 even though the USB interface accepts up to a 24/96 stream.

All of my CD rips are 16/44.1 AIFF's and with BitPerfect I send these to the DAC at 24/88.2 so I want to know the behaviour of the Burson.

Hi Scottv50,

The current stock is still the original.

Cheers,

George

Thanks. I will be down in Melbourne in about two weeks on business and am going to try and get into your store to have a listen of the following;

LCD-2
RS1i
HA-160D
HA-160DS
DACmini

Can I bring my own MacBook Pro so I can use my own recordings routed out via USB through BitPerfect? This way I will be getting a proper comparison to my current DACport, HD650's and MS1i gear.

Can't comment on the burson but for the macbook you can bring whatever source you want. I usually bring my hard drive and plug it in their msi,

Hi all.
This is my first post in this forum. I've bought a few item in the past few months from George at A2A.
It's good that I found this forum so we could share our experience with audio.

So, Happy Sunday to all Oz and NZ head-fiers.

Yeah I want to take along my whole MacBook Pro, not just a drive with files on it. This way I can use the whole source device I will be using with the new gear and have a valid comparison to my existing gear. Just want to plug the USB cable into my MBP and go from there.

BTW my boys gave the ATH-M50s to the wife today for Mother's Day. Very happy she is! She even commented on the A2A sticker inside the package.

Hi Scottv50,

You are welcome anytime and please feel free to bring in any gear you like.

Great news about the Mother's day gift and happy to hear the sticker was a win too

P.S. We will be ordering new stock of the LCD-2, if that is your preferred option but so far no one has asked for this.

Look forward to seeing you at A2A.

Cheers,

George

Hi Scottv50,

I have confirmed with Burson that their USB receiver does not accept 24/88.2.

George

I'm not sure how many people knew about this but it is news for me anyway.
Headphonic now has the full headphone range from Hifiman, check this out: http://headphones.com.au/pbrowse?catID=1&brand=HiFiMan
