My suggestion: a 2nd hand ath m50x.

Durable. Good value. "Gateway" headphone.

You might find a few comments on the ath m50x somewhere here in headfi.

Djstore has the m50x at $170 this weekend if he wants to blow his budget.

I haven't heard them but the m40x there is $116 this weekend. Could that work?

I just am very slowly in answering in this moment, because the 90% of my free time since 2 months is being spent comparing more than 100 Bluetooth Headphones (never EVER again!).
