I think the best team of the whole tournament won (and I don't think too many would dispute that) - but the French played the best in the final.  I really think the ABs played their final the week before against Australia.  That was also the best game of the tournament.
 
The whole WC showed how close the top teams have become.

Yep for all round consistency AB's deserved the title, especially on home turf ~ it's for the good of rugby.
 
Just glad that the final lived up to the hype ~ it was a cracker.

One of the best rugby World Cups ever......since 1987....which was the second best.....I wonder who won???
 
Yes, Les Bleus were certainly tough and gave the ABs a run for their money towards the end, but our boys fought tough.  Now, not to bring in speculation, but had the ABs not lost Carter and a coupe of others (not criticising Piri), any ideas what would be the score in the final?  65 - 7??????
 
I liked the Haka they used in the quarters, semis and final.
