Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

And now you shall send me the Rockets for $150 and be done with it :)

This can be organised for a demo, though they're not for sale. Under the circumstances of my ownership selling is not possible. Let yourself take in the IEM I already sent you though first.

Maybe I could do a Rockets tour with some of our Australian members.

I'm still waiting for my Rockets with Mic...  Really disappointed as I was like the 39th backer but haven't seen a thing hit my door... :/

I haven't gotten mine yet either, hoping to sell it before Aurisonics ship it so i can just change the delivery address to the buyer, saving me the hassle of re-shipping it lol

Eke2k6,
Why put the foam tip on reversed? I put some Comply foam tips (500 model) on the Rockets and they went on with no difficulty. Are you finding some sonic advantage to having them backwards? Thanks.

The extra foam at the end of the nozzle obstructs the sound. Putting it on in reverse cures that, or you could just cut off the extra foam. I say reverse, since not everyone is willing to castrate their tips.

Nitpicking, I now. But I'd put forward the opinion that cutting off the extra foam is circumcision rather than castration.

Just don't do it on beige foam tips - I don't think I could handle that.
