When they say "controlled bass" they are basically saying it has "no bass".
Nice review. Due to its detailed treble for me I use Comply tips and added a good Copper Cable.Finally managed to get a few weeks listening time with the old Aurisonics Harmony (better late than never - thanks to @theUKMrT

Sound stage, detailed, bass depth, vocals are breath taking, extended treble. Hard to use another cable after wxperiencing this.I mean the sound of that 18k cable , what is the one most noticeable difference compared to the stock cable ?
