Yep, slight but real improvement in bass, perhaps a bit more texture as you say, and perhaps a bit lower in frequency. It’s a 5 percent thing for me, but worth it. I have to admit I do love looking at them too!

I've been running the Sophia's over 1-1/2 years and IMO it's more than 5% improvement. I think it improves with more time. I like it so much that shortly after buying the first pair, I bought 2 more pairs as back-ups. The big blue bottles look great too.

What brand stock tubes come with Auris Nirvana the website mentions ECC82 by Tung- Sol and EL34 by Electro Harmonix ?

I got the JJ for both, but I suppose they may change it from time to time depending on their inventory

I think my Nirvana came with Electro Harmonix tubes. I used them to burn in the Nirvana for about 200-300 hours. They’re “ok” but the amp really gets significantly better with premium tubes.

Hi folks, I found the linear power supply come with the Nirvana release some burnt smell every time when I turn off the amp... There's no smell when turning on or during the usage, and it doesn't get hot, only warm when touch it by hand, the smell only happens after I just turn off the Nirvana and last for 1 min or so... It happens almost every time I use it, but nothing wrong with how it sounds...
Wondering if this is normal and does anyone else experiencing the same? Thanks!

Mine doesn't release any smell at all, you might want to send Auris an mail to ask if it's acceptable.

This doesn't sound right (or safe). I'd send it under (hopefully) warranty to be checked out

So if you smell into the little window on the front of the power supply, can you smell anything? In my case, during usage, I can smell something only when I smell into the window really close, but when turning off the amp, I can smell the same scent even when I’m 3-4 feet away
