Some reviews seem not very favourable. Battery life of 6~7 hours seem to be short for me. Is there any chance battery life could be extended after firmware updates?

It plays.  No error message pops up.

However, I only hear loud static.

Hmm, maybe it was corrupted upon transfer. I use teracopy when transferring files.It will transfer bit for bit and even run it back for you and show you how accurately everything transferred. Short of that I take it those same files play on other players?


I happen to have a Tesla album in 32bit wav and I have no problems at all.
