Why do you think they are in competition?  Besides a similar look, these have different DACs.  I would think C200 and M1S be in competition (sound wise) due to ESS DACs.

I hope the balanced is implemented properly. The FiiO X7 balanced wasn't that different from SE, only my Geek Out V2+ Infinity seems to give a noticeably "different" sound via Balanced output.
