So, initially I wanted a pair of ES7's, but when I found out that they made a smaller, more portable version (the ES55's), I opted for those since I do most of my listening on the train and portability would be a huge plus for me.
 
So I rang the local stockist here in Melbourne, and they said that the ES55's don't exist, and that I might have meant the WM55's.

I was just wondering if these were essentially the same pair of headphones with slight aesthetic tweaks? Is the ES55 discontinued, and does anyone have experience with these headphones? Thanks.

After briefly googling these two, they have massively different specs and around 60 bucks price difference.  Seems to me like the dealer is trying to unload some older/excess stock on you.
