This is cable 171. I have the 8 wire version.

This is the single crystal copper. But from reviews, I have heard it has a warmer tonality which is why I didn't go for it. And also more expensive.

The 6 core cable you are talking of is actually more expensive than the 8 core Litz UPOCC. That cable is $272 Aud for the 6 core and $342 for the 8 core. Much more expensive. And from reveiws I have heard that it enhances the low end while warming up the sound. The UPOCC Litz 8 core is more closer to neutral and much cheaper as well. Unless you are talking of a different cable or company.... Could you please send a link :)

It could be maybe the dap. But from my experience, I don't think the background could go any darker. I am using the E1DA 9038s on performance mode as my source. I am beyond happy with the quality and craftman ship especially the sound of the cable for the price. It's a great deal as cables like this could easily be sold for twice the price. Maybe once this cable breaks or dies on me, I'll try out a higher grade copper. But I think that will take a while. But I will certainly have my eyes on this company. You can ask them specificaly how you want the cable to be made and what speficific connectors you need, all for a really good price. I also got the discount as well. But tax really stung me so it was only about a $14 difference. If there was no tax would have been around $28 or $30 difference.

E1da 9038s not work well for me....r6 pro balance output much better ...imho
Is it because the volume wasnt easy to control? I love the E1DA 9038s. Even more than a Chord Mojo or Hugo. I have yet to find a dap or dac that truly is an upgrade that isnt going to blow my wallet. I have had no issues at all with it.

No problem with volume control....sq not my preference....sound stage, imaging, layering and the most importan is emi issue...cannot use with my galaxy note 8...to much noise, except in fligth mode

Hmm I have heard about the emi issues. I luckily havent had any issues at all with my S9. But I also find imaging and soundstage to be excellent. I prefer it more than the Fiio Q5s with AM3D module. I haven't listened to the Hiby R6 Pro though.
