That extreme but narrow dip is caused by the pads?

Mind you I found the brainwaves velour pads to be too bright for me. Must try the hybrids or even their pleather. Any chance of seeing those measured?

Have the alternate AQ pads for the NH been made available? I've been waiting to snap some up.

Hi, no is not my graph but i had the NH and tried them with velours and my impressions from the sound was similar

are these AQs pads or another company's pads that are compatible? I know AQs pads were due out around this time but I do not see them on their website. Please provide me a link if you'd be so kind. Tks much

actually I believe I recall now. AQ is releasing a microsuede and boost pad which is not expected to be available until Oct/Nov.

yes they are similar if not exactly the same size, but the Fischer he-002 are different because they have synthetic leather inside, so the sound might be a little different

Any chance anyone has heard the NHs with BOTH of these pads and could describe their thoughts on the similarities and differences between the two?

@Joeybgood I don't know about the audioquest alternative pads. Maybe with the Nightowl?
 
I was trying the HM5 pads that can be made to fit.

My 7 year old niece really likes the smell of the Nighthawks Wood Lacquer.

I told her the smell will eventually disappear over time and she replied "you can buy some new Nighthawks when that happens and return these?"
