I found that HUB has 2 power port, analog and digital. Should I connect both of them to ZAP? or just connect digital.

You just need to connect the digital part, unless your hub is equipped with the analogue section, then yes you need both connected.

Did anyone compared the input of HUB through usb and LAN port? which port is better?

w/ my ears: USB (from PC) < LAN < SPDIF/AES (w/ SU6 DDC)

w/ FMC (Fiber Media Converter) Mod on LAN its nearly LAN = SPDIF/AES (w/ SU6 DDC).

However chose LAN due to convenience.

Another (same thing on what I hear or what I remember):

[ USB (from PC) -> SU6 DDC (via I2S/HDMI) -> ZAP ] nearly = [ SU6 DDC (via SPDIF/AES) -> HUB ]

on supported files, no oversampling/format conversion on HUB.

Mickey I'm not quite sure why I'm following or commenting on an Audiobyte thread, but I'm confident that the insertion of an Ifi LAN iSilencer after your clean FMC would satisfyingly elevate your LAN chain even further possibly beyond the SU6. As would vibration damping of the clean FMC, but to be fair you'd have to do same for SU6.

Yes! It is both a format converter and upsampler. This is done configuring the rate and output of its I2S:
I2S PCM Processing: Native (same as source), 352/384PCM, 705/768PCM, DSD256, DSD512
I2S DSD Processing: Native (same as source), , DSD256, DSD512, 352/384PCM, 705/768PCM

Haven't use HQPlayer for sometime now. Just let the HUB do its thing.

For example, what I like right now is all inputs are converted to 705/768PCM.
So here is an example of DSD256 source via UPnP (using BubbleUPnP on my NAS) converted to 705PCM -> to Vox (DAC) via I2S.

Two years ago when we were fixing my relay issues with the HUB and Nicolae sent me the fixed FW, he said they had to reduce to DSD256 when DSD Direct is set to ON from the previous DSD512. What I have done UNTIL NOW is set DSD Direct to OFF and set attenuation/volume to 0. Haven't ask support if the current FW DSD Direct was set back to DSD512.

What I prefer right now is to upsample everything to PCM 705/768. So DSD Direct OFF and Attenuation to 0.

OK. so I think if set the DSD DIRECT on, maybe the music is upsampled twice (by hub and by VOX).

I do have the Hub(3 set unit) my friend tried to give me a Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, how can it work with my Hub? Is there any double feature? Meanwhile I’m using iMac as a Roon Core but not quite stable is Naim Uniti can instead my desktop or any recommendation? Thanks for all kind of advise.

You can use Uniti as your UPnP Server (w/ USB drive attached) to your HUB.
If your HUB has the optional Analog XLR, Unit XLR Analog outs to HUB's XLR Analog ins.

If not, use Uniti in your bedroom/office, or you can give it to me..
