Is it possible to turn off the display or to dim it?
I don´t see a picture where it is in "Stand bye" --> how bright this is.
Normally i switched off completely all of my audio quipment after listening if i end up the session for more than 2 hours.
In that case after a long time off the main supply how long takes it for fully load the Zap?
Does anyone of you turn up the voltage for the Vox?
I saw a review where the guy turned the voltage to 19,2V. He mentioned that he liked the sound the most with this setting.

Deliveries from June...Which year is not specified 😁
Correct! In two years? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Constructed in solid aluminum block, programmable clock, and its own LPS will upped its price.

Can the hydra.hub take any usb audio signal and upsample it? For instance by connecting to the PC via USB, upsamling YouTube for example and feeding it via i2s to the DAC?

Yes! It is both a format converter and upsampler. This is done configuring the rate and output of its I2S:
I2S PCM Processing: Native (same as source), 352/384PCM, 705/768PCM, DSD256, DSD512
I2S DSD Processing: Native (same as source), , DSD256, DSD512, 352/384PCM, 705/768PCM

Haven't use HQPlayer for sometime now. Just let the HUB do its thing.

For example, what I like right now is all inputs are converted to 705/768PCM.
So here is an example of DSD256 source via UPnP (using BubbleUPnP on my NAS) converted to 705PCM -> to Vox (DAC) via I2S.

I have my stack delivered two weeks ago and am really happy with the sound quality. However i have run into several issue with the hub and wonder if anyone else have the issue and is there any fix.

1. When i click check update in the hub, it will showing update error in every aspects.
2. Losing 0.2-0.5 second of each song
3. When i tried to shut down the stack by either clicking the power button on zap directly or via app. The hub will go into red audiobyte logo but with bright light background whereas zap will go to standby mode with red audiobyte logo and dimmed light. When i tried to turn on the stack again, the hub freezes with the red audiobyte logo forever and each time i have to unplug the stack to be able to turn it on.

- Check if the stack has an IP address via the (i) icon on the top right
- Yeah! Some of us had this problem wwith the HUB at the start. I noticed it was gone when I placed an FMC (Fiber Media Converter) between my router and Hub. Don't know if it was fixed on the FW upgrade.
- Yes, it does this weird thing (now less) sometimes. I just unplug ZAP, wait a few seconds and replug again.

Edit: Update error in HUB wil also mean you have the latest FW.

Is there any information available about word clocks used in the Hydra.hub? I am wondering if connecting the Hydra.hub or the announced Suberhub via I2S to Holo May DAC would be superior to Crystek 957 clocks used in Holo May...
