For those of you that live in NE Ohio, Audio Technica is having a warehouse sale tomorrow (12/13) from 8-3. It was today also, starting at 10 and ending at 8. I got there right at 10 and there was no parking...they were directing parking into the docks. There must have been 50-75 people ahead of me. They had 2 pairs of W1000's for $200. Unfortunately I already have them, but I told the 2 guys next to me to grab them, 'cause if they didn't like them, they could easily sell them. I was looking for the W5000's, to no avail. I picked up a pair of ath-ckm50's for $30. I almost picked up a pair of cm700ti's for $60, but put them back. Each person was given a free pair of ath-eq44 bw's for free. Maybe next year I'll bag me a pair of W5000's.

Yeah, but other than these 2 great days, he has to live in Ohio the other 363. Personally, I'm willing to pay more so I can live somewhere nice.

On a serious note, did they have AD700s, AD900s, and AD2000s? If so, do you remember their prices? Those are the ones I'd have drooled over.

No AD2000's. I was looking for them as well. I did see AD700's on one table, but didn't check the price...sorry.

Did you notice if there were any decent audio mics for sale?  I'm interested in a nice one for recording vocals.
 
Also, I am not familiar with Audio-Technica gear.  I would like to upgrade my Sennheiser HD280 Silver headphones.  I use them for monitoring vocal and guitar recording.  What would you recommend based on what you saw there for sale?

A friend of mine also called to tell me he saw a sign out in front of the warehouse today, advertising the sale today and tomorrow.
 
So if anyone has any feedback to the questions in my original post, I would appreciate hearing about them ... because I'd like to take advantage of the sale if I can!

Ah, that's great to see they're still doing these Warehouse sales, anyone want to pick me up a pair of ad2000's and w5000's if they're $200 and $300 or less?

Well ... the warehouse sale was yesterday and today ... and it seems like all the good stuff  was taken yesterday.  I did see one remaining pair of W5000's that were being sold for $349 ... otherwise, the rest were lower end in the range of $50 - $100.
