I've tried ordering the AD900x from amazon.co.jp but my credit card is getting declined. I've used the tenso address as the shipping address and my credit card address as the billing address. Am I doing something wrong or is it my financial institution that's declining it?

Take it up with your financial institution or use a different card, I'd say. I had no problems using my credit card to purchase my AD900X from Amazon.jp and Tenso.

I think the AD2000X has more than enough bass for EDM. But it is all personal taste. If you are used to bloated bass you may be disappointed. But if you prefer more balance you will be very happy.

Can anyone recommend an amp/dac for my AD900x. Would C421 be a good choice ?
I'm using Fiio E10 right now!!

Bill-P writes a little about the C421 and based on his thoughts, I wouldn't pair it with the AD900x. I have the BH and E12 and I'm loving the AD900X/E12 combination. While Audio-Technica's new bass range isn't as anemic as their old AIR series, the AD900x sounds mighty nice with the (sub) bass boost on the E12 engaged.

You can also take a look at the Schiit Magni. I'm going to be getting mine on either Saturday or Monday, and I'm going to be using it with my pseudo AD2000. For $99, it's a steal, especially with the specs that come with it. As it's a dedicated amp, you'll have to take a look elsewhere for a dac (Schiit modi?)

I just read his review and it seems the only thing that E12 won over c421 is bass. However, what I'm looking for is cleaner midrange and larger soundstage 'cause my E10 adds a little too much warmth to AD900x and the ss is even worse than plugging directly to my iPad.
His review also mention that O2 beats E12 in most tests, and according to several people, C5 sounds quite identical to O2, Guess I'll try the C5 then. It's not that I have huge budget but I don't want to spend on 100$ amp since the differences might be very negligible coming from E10.

The C5 may indeed be for you, then. Personally, I don't find that the E12 is detrimental to my cans' soundstage, at all. I do prefer a warmer sound, though, which is why I favor the FiiO amp. My only gripe with the C5 is that it costs about as much as the AD900x itself, but do keep us posted on how the pairing sounds.

Was in Japan last week, tried out the ad2kx, 1kx and 900x at Yodobashi Camera. I really wanted the ad2000x but didnt have enough cash....In the end I picked up the AD900x.

Could someone do me a huge favor and take a picture of their adxxxXs with a standard size cd next to them? I need to compare sizes.

Also are the two things on top that attatch the left and right side together made out of metal or plastic?

took some window windproof tape n married the two flaps...
adjusted until the drivers are firing directly into my ear canals,
instead of the two cups hanging off my ears.:p

Thanks a bunch. How do those two winged whatever things feel on your head? I have a small head.

I've got an average sized head, but you don't feel them at all. I'm wearing my AD900x right and forgot about the wing system til I read your post, actually. The only thing that I'm ever really aware of when I have my cans on is the padding around my ears, but it's not uncomfortable at all; just kinda there.

And btw pngwn, I finally got my E12. Yes, the synergy with the ad900x is rather awesome.
