DIR9001 users: What usb > spdif devices are you using?

I'm getting good results with the same inexpensive ($77 with free shipping from a Hong Kong eBay vendor) Teralink X2 that I used with my Maverick D1 before getting the NFB-3/DIR9001:

I'd like to get a DI, but I'd also like to get a C-2.1 and a vacation, but none of them are on the financial horizon.

i'm going to throw in my tuppence ... i've been using the 8805 ever since i received my nfb-2, but just a few days ago, i switched to the dir9001.  everyone talks about the improvement in resolution and high freq'cies, but i also found significant improvement in bass detail. not only weight .. tonality, texture .. everything is improved.  i refute my earlier comments on the 8805 and pledge allegiance to the 9001 uber alles.

The improvements you cite (switching to the DIR9001) especially the gains in bass resolution, have a direct correlation with the reduced jitter specification of the BB chip vs the WM8505....although I do believe the Wolfson IC is an improvement on the Cirrus Logic 84XX series in this respect.

He could probably do worse than get some good model number stickers made. After all, some Japanese manufacturers still use stick-on logos.

2 weeks so far - it can't come fast enough for me.  C'mon Audio-GD!

Always late to the party.

On a side note, anyone know if orders from Pacific Valve show up on the GD consignment list?

Is there a way to set the digital filter setting of WM8741s in NFB-3 to minimum phase apodizing filter (#4)? What is the factory default for the digital filtering ? Is it linear phase "soft knee"? Anybody know?
