Still digging this thing a week or so in. Having filter options at the touch of a button has become addictive. The Emotiva Big Ego has it also, though the NFB-2.32 has more filter options.
 
I've found that for general listening, I like "5" the best, which is 4X oversampling , Linear phase 'soft-knee' filter, support up to 96KHz

Picked up an NFB2.1 on the cheap recently.

DIR9001 installed. BNC Coax SPDIF replaced RCA SPDIF input. Fed from a Di20.

I'm quite enjoying this DAC. Definitely has a smooth, warm signature with some detailed resolution.

Having been listening to my R-1 NOS DAC for a few years now, this is a nice way to hear old music new again!
