Hi, Did that a few times and when I select the folder in the altera for the drivers it just keeps saying the best drivers for your device are already installed. This is in Device manager of usb blaster.usb blaster error.jpg
This means you have to uninstall first if i remember well. Identify the the device in the list and uninstall the driver by selecting the corresponding pop-up menu option (right-click on the device to acces this).

Try a usb hub … I had that same issue.

Just a normal usb hub before the blaster

I have updated both the firmware DI-24.1 and DI-24_spdif but after successfully updating I can no longer get sound using spdif output form DI-24HE. Any suggestions?

Did you accidently push the button on the firmware port?

I got it working by repowering the DI-24HE.

When connecting/disconnecting the usb blaster to/from the di24, it has to be turned off. In case you made this mistake.
I disconnected the usb blaster with the power still on would this cause any problems?

Can you link where you got the required softwares?

I think I might have done the same when I got my DI20HE. Gonna reflash both DIs

This could explain this issue you had with the spdif out. Reflash the fw just in case. Dont forget to turn the unit off.
I updated the firmware again with power on and off when connecting blaster. Now when I use the spdif output it will only work selecting option 5 for the 50 ohm. If I select option 7 for 75 ohm just get a humming noise?
