Audeze SINE Series

Nice. I’m getting my pair in sometime next week so really excited to try them out. Unfortunately the seller no longer has the original pads so I’m getting a replacement pair for now but hope I can get a pair of the default pads some day down the line
I'm looking at acquiring a pair of OG pads as well since they are pretty comfy for me and I think they look the best (and ideally should sound the best as well).

Here are some sites I found that sell Sine pads or alternatives that look the same:

https://www.tejar.com/audeze-sine-replacement-earpad
https://www.totmusicstudio.net/products/audeze-sine-replacement-earpads
https://vesperaudio.com/ --> this one sells customized Sine pads, but they are supposedly very similar

Hmm, I did see these sites but honestly, I’ve never heard about the first two sites so I was kinda skeptical about ordering from them. And vesper is just too expensive imo. 60€ is insane for a pair of pads. I know there’s more expensive pads for other headphones but even then, I can never justify paying that much for earpads. I’ll look into those other places you linked and see how legit they are and maybe get them in the future

Vesper's pads are made to order; they might be hand done if I'm not mistaken, so the price isn't humongous. That said, the spec I got did end up changing the sound of the Sine quite a bit, but specs that are closer to how the sine come shouldn't be (shallow, leather, memory foam).

Oh so you’re the guy... I was eying them, thank you very much lol
I was asking for a discount as I think they should be a bit cheaper than that, the market on eBay is a bit bonkers IMO.
Should have moved faster, congrats, hope you like them

Sorry about that man :) hey if I decide not to keep them I'll contact you first and drop the price. I agree that the price is a bit high for that headphone, I guess they just don't show up very often on eBay.

I love my SINE bought them new about 8 months ago from Audeze. I quickly swapped the pads out for some basic ATH pads from my SR6bt. They fit perfect on there & make a WORLD of difference! I recently got myself a 4.4mm Cable from LavriCables to use with my Fiio M11. I will always have love for this headphone!

How do they affect sound?

I really wish Audeze would get back to cool industrial design like the SINE and EL8
I love the Sine’s design, especially closed back, since it’s so minimalistic. I wasn’t a huge fan of the EL8 design, it didn’t look bad, but didn’t look as good a the Sine IMO. The new Euclid (totally different segment, I know) actually looks normal :p

I also have this model. but I use them only when I move from home to work. for me there is a rule, ortho and iso sound much better when the rear is open. vocals and scene width is better.

so I removed the side covers and put dampfing materials. native cushions replaced with softer,

applied cable LITZ, which cost 100$.
