I don't expect anyone to read 180++ pages for a simple answer.

There is a search function that I have used multiple times to find prior post I know I have read. Seemed to work ok for me even with searching for just 3 character words.

Sounds quality is great so far. I've been using the Arctis 7 for so long that I got used to its sound for so long that these sounded weird at first. Only thing bothering me though is that I'm getting the annoying whooshing sound in my right ear. EXTREMELY distracting once you start to hear it. It's really hard to ignore once you hear it.

We are planning to release the new firmware this week. If anyone here is eager to check it out, message us along with your location.

Sent you a PM. Would love to test it out if it's something that can possibly fix the whoosing sound.

I am enjoying this headset much but there’s only one thing bothering me which is this creaking sound that I experience only on the left earcup when i move the earcup. Area is shown below. This sound is only on the left side and there’s no issue with the right side. I see some screws there and was wondering what to do with it?

Mine is at 100%, also on Destiny 2, didn't experience your issues.

Correct me if if I'm wrong but you're using Penrose not 7P which is what I was talking about?

Tried the mic with Discord and everyone immediately asked what happened with my mic. They all said it sounds muffled and to go back to my old Arctis 7 headset..

Pretty disappointing in that regard.

Is this something that's gonna be improved with the firmware update or is this not changing?

Is there some way to get the microphone working using the aux cable? Connecting it to the front of my computer headphone port doesn't show any input option for the mic.

Honestly, no idea. I haven't even tried Aux or BT with my Penrose. Wireless has worked very well for me.

Wired mic sounds a lot better based off of MLE's testing. Not sure how he got the mic working on PC through the aux cable though.

It's a combi cable iirc, you need a splitter to plug in mic and headphone seperately.

I have a question about how to set my audio at the source. When watching Netflix on my ps5, should I be using the stereo feed or the 5.1 feed in the Netflix options? Also for games should I choose headphones, stereo, or 5.1 for my source? So far in my limited testing the stereo feed in Netflix is louder but the 5.1 sounds cleaner to my ear. I am using the headsets wireless with dongle.
