I have an Essential phone and play music via LDAC which as others have stated sounds great. No tracking in bluetooth?

With LDAC it defaults to 32/96, so Mobius is in Hi-Res mode. You can reduce the sampling rate to 48 Khz on LDAC in your phone and headtracking will automatically start working. You have to go into developer settings on andorid to adjust LDAC settings

That's what I was actually afraid of. Going into developer settings every time. I assume this may also get my quality phone calls as well... have to check in a bit. Admittedly, it will be monotonous doing that. But I never planned to use these for calls, only bluetooth LDAC audio. But when I get a call, I may not be able to take it???

I hope for those that put these HP's on a pedestal, truly get the experience they've imagined. The latter part of this thread (even with the new thread to replace it) will obfuscate a lot of the diligent work that Audeze has put into these HP's. Unfortunately, this thread appears high in the search results for the Audeze Mobius and may cause potential buyers to look pass Audeze. It is understandable some here were/are angry about the delays, but your silly (if you really think about it) complaints could jeopardize future editions of the Mobius. Food for thought.

Once you set it in developer settings the settings persist on Android. You dont have to keep changing it.

I see. But I can't have the highest resolution whilst using head tracking...though I doubt with my hearing I could ever detect the difference.

Ok I have ordered the brainwavz pads, those will arrive tuesday. Once I get my mobius I will attempt to replace the pads. Hoping attaching the new pads won't be a hassle

Just received my pair, however, I cannot get the microphone to pick up my voice although it is already enabled and is the default device. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: mic works, but is super soft and I had to turn every mic volume setting to max and talk loudly to be heard on discord. Is this a known issue?

On a good note, head tracking works well and I've been using it thru usb and wireless LDAC with no problems. Currently using the music eq preset although it's very similar to default imo. Sound quality is good for the price you pay. Pads are a big no-no, too small and make my ears hot after some usage, I need to turn on the air-conditioner so that doesn't happen. Definitely a no-go for Singapore weather. I will also be looking to get replacement pads in the future. Hiss is audible when no music is playing which is slightly annoying I must confess, but it's not a deal breaker imo.

All things considered, I'm happy with the mobius, just these things that I've mentioned that prevent them from being great.

Did your Hermes traking update before the mail? For me it still says "Die Sendung ist bisher nicht am Hermes Verteilzentrum LC Bad Rappenau eingetroffen." and no mail from Hermes yet. Growing a little concerned here.

I checked after I received the email. This is what Hermes says:

Same, mine says it will be delivered tomorrow. Let's see, I expected to have to pay import taxes and stuff, so I don't know if they're really going to simply deliver it—I'm gonna be at work at the time.

No I am attempting to adapt a pair because I do not want the stock pads because they are closed back and I am attempting to get them to breath more by adding perforated pads

I hope we dont have to pay but im pretty sure the only Carrier that offers taxes pay while delivering is DHL. As far as i know this is treated like a inland shipment so probably no taxes^^

A tiny bit disappointed (and surprised) that mine haven't made it from Shenzhen to Shanghai yet (four days since the email). I'm off on a school trip tomorrow - maybe they'll arrive while I'm away and I can enjoy them when I get back.
Still very much looking forward to them. Been playing Tomb Raider and will definitely be interested to hear how it is via Mobius - the soundtrack alone is pretty compelling. Good game so far as well!

My Mobius is now in the local Hermes hub in Freiburg Germany, my hometown. It seems I will receive them tomorrow without customs fee.
