Audeze Mobius review / impressions

I followed this video and managed to replace the broken piece without having to use a soldering iron:
I used a serrated blade to free the cable from the broken piece, being careful not to damage it (I think)
I put the new part in, I close everything but the left speaker (the one where I changed the part) doesn't work. All the controls on the earcup work perfectly (volumes, buttons, microphone), but it doesn't make any sound.
The soldering seems ok to me and the cable, apart from a small superficial cut, does not seem damaged.

What do you think could have happened?

I accidentally damaged the diaphragm while I was working: I placed it without realizing it on the screwdriver which was attracted by the magnet. From what I understand this could cause problems with sound distortions, or it could be the cause of the speaker not working at all

I attach photos of the welds, the cable and the damaged diaphragm

I did a continuity check on the cables with a tester, and they all seem fine.
Only on the non-working driver board I have no continuity, so I think I have irreparably damaged the driver.
I found a replacement driver for the HyperX Cloud Orbit S, do you know if it is compatible with the Audeze Mobius?

I have the mobius and have the old Smyth Realizer and no the Mobius is nowhere close. Once my set got broken I just use my Airpods Max as a daily driver and the HE1000v2 (powered by a Cavilli Liquid Fire amplifier) whenever I need some sound quality.

Can we talk about the Audeze mobius??

Hey

The möbius has a 3d button on the headphone? What is it actually doing? Because in the description u say u have to enable 5.1. On pc to watch movies in surround?? But how is it if I’m on a phone and just use the 3D button and watch a movie in 5.1.???

Can someone explain what is exactly going on with this 3D Button and more…

Thank u

The 3d button enables an HTRF virtualized surround processing. From a 7.1 source, it will mix that into something that will sound like a surround set of speakers in a room. From a 2 channel source like your phone, instead of a full surround speaker setup, it will be like two speakers in front of you in a virtual room.

3D button has two functions: The virtual surround processing, and the headtracking function (moving your head will affect where sound is coming from in a virtual space.).

You can disable headtracking and keep virtualized surround (the voice will say 3D ON if you do not want headtracking but want the surround processing).

You cannot have headtracking without the surround processing.
