Oh I think you got it wrong, the Riskified Rejected is from the last order that didn't went well, this final one is on Pending.
I guess is going to be in Pending status until Monday. Then let's see if changes to Accepted or whatever.
Problably does, if you got charged etc. Some progress at least, let's hope for the good news!
I wonder, how many peeps actually went for the LCD-X, just a few people on the forums, I've noticed?

Great posts and detailed comparisons, the table is over the top! Very nice work. Vielen Dank!
If you have a chance to audition the Ether Flow, I would enjoy your impressions on where they fit into the table. My current line-up is the LCD-X, HD800 and Ether Flow.
I bought the Flow instead of the LCD-4, partly due to price but also I thought the LCD-4 wouldn't be a huge upgrade over the LCD-X. Your comments now make me want to audition the 4. They are super-expensive but perhaps, in the future, Audez'e will trickle-down the technology and roll out the LCD-X2 or the LCD-Y? That would be a cool idea, IMO.
I've heard the LCD-3F and was not impressed. I prefer the more neutral sound of the X (and the HD800). I don't use any mods or EQ on any cans or any music.
BTW, my Bryston BHA-1 amp (along with the GMB) provides a nice quantity of bass with the HD800. I heard the HD800S at a meet and didn't prefer them, to me they sounded like a dampened version of the HD800. Maybe when I'm listening to the HD800, I become a treble head.
Prosit,
RCB
I see you're starting to consider the LCD-4. I have auditioned it several times now and each time I walk away with the same impression (I keep hoping for a different result). I agree with a few commenters above (to a degree) that the LCD-4 is an improvement over the the LCD-X. However, that improvement is not as great as you'd expect when you consider the price jump. It still sounds like an Audeze, but more refined.
You keep an HD800 and an LCD-X for a reason. I suspect that reason is you like the detail retrieval and treble response of the HD800 that is lacking in the LCD-X. You keep the LCD-X because of the great mids and sublime bass that comes with great extension. If you more than double the price of the LCD-X, you may be expecting the LCD-4 to acquire the HD800's best traits while retaining the LCD-X's best qualities. After all, for the price of the LCD-4, you can buy both an HD800 and an LCD-X with spare change to boot. At least that was what I was looking for... But you'd be wrong. The LCD-4 is just a better LCD-X, but not over $2k better.
I walked away disappointed until I auditioned the Focal Utopia. If you're up for spending LCD-4 money, then you might as well get your money's worth. Simply put, the Utopia is everything that the LCD-4 is missing. I won't go into more superlatives; just make sure when you audition the LCD-4 that you also audition the Utopia (side by side if you can). You'll be surprised; just don't blame me if the Utopia makes you upgrade your amp/DAC.

Totally agree. While the LCD 4s sounded amazing, they don't justify for that hefty price. You will be better off with the LCD X (HD 800S in my case) with a better amp/dac and maybe also a good USB reclocker.
I really want to auditon the Utopia and Hifiman HE 1000. Any comments on the HE1K?

Before you pull the trigger on a $4k headphone, Focal Utopias or LCD 4s, if you own either the X or the HD800, you might want to consider Sonarworks, esp with a custom curve.
As for the LCD 4, I would never sink $4k in a product which is reputed to have so many driver failures in the field.

For the record, the new 200 ohm version released in the early part of 2016 has been quite rock solid. The 100 ohm initial version, not so much, but that's been put to bed.

I guess it is still too early to judge if the newer drivers are failure proof. My LCD 3's driver failed after 2 and a half years out of no where.

I'm curious, what did you do? I'm guessing the drivers were out of warranty by then? How much did it cost you to replace?
