The abyss headphone sounds interesting too

Yeah I would love to hear it, especially with the Liquid Gold.

Actually not, because then I would want it and there's no way I could afford it.

Any UK dealers for the abyss? Shouldn't be too painful on finance

Just got my LCD-X .  There are plenty of reviews here but,   I honestly didn't think it could be this good.    End game on the phones.
I'm so glad to hear you got your grail phones shultzee. Congrats!

My dream headphones other than the Stax Sr-009. I'm still a college student so I can only keep dreaming.

I feel like I am missing something with the X I actually prefer my LCD2.2's over them. Yes they are more open on the top but I feel like they sound congested and that the bass, while plentiful, is boomy and kind of loose.

This is where we rally for the college student. I will pony up $100 as starting contribution and will get a good price directly shipper from Echo Audio in Portland. We send Kurt Doslu the owner our contributions until paid for then he ships.

Come on guys. Wouldn't it be great to equip a college student with the best? We were all there at one point. Let's show other forums how it is done!

I ordered from Todd the Vinyl Junkie.  My third pair from him.  Very knowledgeable guy and great to talk to.    And thanks BP.
Your welcome shultzee. I'll give Todd the Vinyl Junkie a call tomorrow.

If mine sounded like that I'd have sent them back.
