It's nothing to do with trade or border issues, for me at least. Audeze simply aren't offering this sale to anyone outside the US.

I think it's a steal for $1500 new. I found it the most neutral of all Audeze cans with resolution close to the 4. Certainly enjoyed it more than my X when I had both.
