Agreed! This little machine drives the Lcdi4 beautifully. Was listening thru my PC using Audirvana and the Reveal plug in and the listening was sublime.I did get a gryphon and it does sound fantastic with lcd i4.

Makes me wonder what the Ifi Diablo would be like with the i4!Agreed! This little machine drives the Lcdi4 beautifully. Was listening thru my PC using Audirvana and the Reveal plug in and the listening was sublime.
I bet it gets a hair to sterile. I have both the Gryphon and iDSD micro signature and the signature is a tad warmer then the Gryphon until I use xbass. Then it's just a bass cannon with either amp, but what I'm getting at is the diablo doesn't have the magic buttons on it.Makes me wonder what the Ifi Diablo would be like with the i4!
I might by the Gryphon as I planned before if it really needs amplification. The set up looks like a Dreamcast thing...

Has anyone compared the Mojo2 to the Gryphon when it comes to powering the i4? Right now my thoughts are on Mojo2.
I recently sold the Hugo2 because I didn't like the combo with the i4. I think that a possible Hugo3 with the same EQ as the Mojo2 would be optimal. To me, it feels like Rob Watts has the recipe that no one else has really managed to threaten.
It was admittedly a long time ago now that I owned both ifi iDSD Micro and Mojo at the same time. But then it was clear to me that Mojo was more transparent. Compared to the Mojo, I felt like a veil over the idsd micro.
I have to admit that the magic buttons on the Gryphon are tempting. But I don't trade the transparency for anything else.

That is cool to know, we didn't see much feedback about that pairing. Thank you

Thank you for the Gryphon! So portable, and so powerful, it helps all of my hard to run phones, most definitely including the LCD-i4! It's my go-to for the LCD-i4 and my TGXear. That is cool to know, we didn't see much feedback about that pairing. Thank you

I fully agree. Great device. I use it with the lcd i4 and serratus. Plenty of power, portable, many connections plus sounds great.Thank you for the Gryphon! My awesome DAPs cannot do the TGX justice like the Gryphon.I fully agree. Great device. I use it with the lcd i4 and serratus. Plenty of power, portable, many connections plus sounds great.

I know there are already millions of EQs out there just wanted to share mine based on harman 2019 v2
I didn't like how the 3kHz+ is handled from the github EQ so I generated my own
my EQ with slight subbass boost and ~1.25k:
without: (delete filter 19 and 20)
use with equalizerAPO
I've had these IEM for 5 years and they never cease to amaze me still

Bought HiBy R5S for the convolver, but ended up just using the built in MSEB for the slight bass boost and leave it as is.
The reveal EQ now straight up sounds bad to my ear for some reason.
Gonna try to plug it back to my qudelix later to make sure that it's not just brain playing tricks.
Edit : it does sound less muffled
