Seems like Audeze discontinued LCD4 entirely. Wondered if it will ever continue to exist like the old LCD lineups but guess not? Weight might be a serious factor here. I simply can’t bear the 700 grams and almost always use my HD800s instead.

Audeze has commented in the LCD5 thread that it is not discontinued, they are short on parts. Once the part shortages are mitigated, it will be available again.

True. They said, in the LCD-5 thread I believe, that they would change the wording. Changing a few words cannot be that difficult or time consuming. Kind of sloppy they haven't done this by now. Unless they think it will push LCD-5 sales somehow.
Half the reviews for the FA-10 are that it’s on the neutral-bright side and the other half that’s it’s warm. Several hours reading about it and still can’t get a sense of what it sounds like although I appreciate hearing it myself is the only way, would be great to have some idea before purchase. Just shows how there’s not much consensus amongst reviewers and we’r so divided.

I believe in speaker amps too. That's my other passion besides tube amps. LCD4 straight out of the headphone output from this monster vintage Kenwood KA3300D is just incredible.
