After wanting to own an Audeze for so long, it's finally here, and I must say, I am not disappointed. Finally, a proud owner of the LCD-2C . Also, for anyone who has issues with the headstrap stretching, check out Understated Montreal for a LCD strap. I have a T60RP strap from Laurent and it's absolutely beautiful.

I swapped out the proteins for Dekoni Suedes because I wasn't a fan of that vacuum feeling. Super comfy

I waited years and years as well. Kinda gave up until the Classics came around. As you said, they do not disappoint.

I've never heard anybody say they were disappointed in a pair of LCD-2C. Super set of cans in the price range with no obvious problems.

My custom strap came in! It feels as nice as it looks . It is a much nicer leather so it shouldn't stretch at all.

What are some good upgrade options sub £1500 to the LCD-2C? I love the bass and forward mids on the 2C but am looking for something with a bit more detail in the treble as well without any harshness?

I've heard LCD-X needs EQ to sound good, is that true? I'm not very big on EQ, much prefer listening to stock. Also apparently they're more neutral and not as forward in the mids?

They don't need more EQ than the 2C. Mids are a bit less warm but the technical aspect of the sound is much more improved. More detail and extension to both ends.
