I just use these glass heads, only 20 bucks a pop

Or, if you're a Trek fan.

Looks a whole lot like Lieutenant Ilia, IMO.

Eh ?

How would reversing the connections left to right maintain a forward soundstage

Well, you now would be wearing the hp with the headband in the reverse position. You are not only changing the rotation of the cups but also the way the hp is worn.

Though I've not yet tried an LCD-3 or LCD-2 rev.3 (never thought I'd see that), I really like the idea of the new angled cable connectors. With my LCD-2 rev 2, the back of the leather headband often presses on my head slightly. The angled cable connectors seem as though they would balance the headband position, facilitating it to rest more evenly on the wearer's head. Is that so?

With every modification Audez'e make to their headphone line, each revision seems to be becoming more and more of a practical collector's model, items that Audez'e provide product support for - thumbs up, A-Team! :)

Question:  With this design update you still have the option of opting for the rosewood over the bamboo.  Does anyone know if the rosewood option now incorporates the new cable entry like the lcd3 has, or is that only for the bamboo?

New cable entry is available for rosewood I was told (I just ordered a Bamboo pair)...
