my laptop acer predator helios 500 is animal. via usb -c works bathys or hifiman ananda easy. so think adapter 6.35-3.5 will works,or better see tgo fiio K5 amplifier it has 6.35mm output
It's not so much a question if the headphones make sound, it's a question of how well controlled it is. Audeze recommend 250 mw power. You are lucky if your pc can trim out 100 mw.

Amanda's and Focals will run on just about anything just fine. Audeze - not so much.

Think also this is the reason that Audeze give you a cable that is 6.3 instead of the standart 3.5 mm. They are ment to run form a amp to get the best experience.

Just my 2 cent

AK SR25II output unbalanced is 2Vrms,balanced 4Vrms. how it is converted to mw? also why far better and more details, and more louder sounds my bathys wired via usb-c vs 3.5mm jack on laptop acer predator helios 500 ?

. As for your Bathys. When you use them in USB mode, via usb-c then you are using the headphones internal amp to amplify the music.

Your pc may have more volts/power and better amp then the amp inside the headphones.

You if have a decent dedicated soundcard inside the pc, then likely you are fine. But most PC's use a ombord soundcard that are pretty crappy

Also found this.. so you should be fine with the A&k

If memory serves, A&K quotes for SR25 (noad) unbalanced Vrms as 2V; balanced Vrms as 4V, so;
16 Ohm load: 250mW; 1000mW
32 Ohm load: 125mW; 500mW
320 Ohm load: 12.5mW; 50mW

im tried at local shop my AK sr25ii and lcd-2c cb via 3.5mm adapter. works perfect, 2/3 of sounds enough to listen. so,idea to buy balanced xlr to 4.4mm cables is good for use lcd-2c cb on 4.4mm A&k balanced output?

what portable amplifier i must to buy for lcd-2c cb ? what output power must be for 32ohm? im see at 70-200eur priced portable amp/dac and they 200mw at 32ohm is too low?
My best guess that it is within the minimum requirements, as Audeze says minimum 100 and recomend 250. But they don't say at how many ohms. Standart would be at 32.

So no. I don't think it's to low. - but all this depends on the quality of the amp.

As mentioned in a big fan of IfI products, as I like the sound signature. The Hipdac pulls some 400mw at 32 ohm. That thing can power anything you throw at it - but it also has a battery that needs to be charged.

I think the cheapest option is the Hipdac version 1, the green one, as it's about 125 euro...

Thanks! We're super proud how our hip-dac 1 and 2 turned out considering their size, power output and battery life. Cheers!

Hi, has anyone replaced the original old thick pleather pads with the new leather ones? I'm a little afraid that 2CB will lose the subbass with the new pads.
