I'm intrigued to hear something with the AAA circuitry, but overall it feels a little non-purist for me. For the same money I had @xrk971 make me one of his "No Holds Barred" pocket class-A amps, and it's EXCELLENT. It's a little clunky swapping 9v batteries, but it's worth it for the raw clarity of having just two active components in the signal path running pure class A. I have to test it with the iSINEs tomorrow, but I suspect good things.

I would definitely be interested in your thoughts on that as well. I'm well set up for transportable amps (ALO CDM, Phatlab Phantasy), but for more pocketable portable amps, I've just got a Walnut F1 at present. I've been curious about the Pocket Class A, along with the Aune B1S and the Oriolus NT-1.

But a dac/amp with parametric EQ is pretty interesting too; there aren't a lot of portable options for EQ that aren't full-on DAPs. There's the MiniDSP HA-1 and the Shure SHA900, and I can't think of a third offhand.

Thought y'all might appreciate the case setup I put together for the iSINEs today. Pelican 1040 with leftover foam from another case, glued together to create spring tension which retains the earpeices in the little holes cut for the ear tubes while also preventing the foam assembly from moving.

I was very surprised by the sound that came from these, I have the 10's and they give you the sound that comes from having a great pair of big cans. I take these to the gym, commutes and other times I'm away from my DT 1990 Pro's. Once I found the sweet spot and the right angle to put these on my ears they are easy to put on and the comfort is good. It also doesn't prevent me from hearing things nearby too!

If it helps, these are the settings I've been using w/10-band eq on the Shanling M3S to approximate one of the alternate EQ curves that Kmann had posted.

This profile is excellent. You trade a little bit of overall thickness and body for noticeably clearer vocal presentation and high/mid detail retrieval.

Just went to Audeze's site to buy another "in ear Groovy kit" as my clip broke again. BUT THEY NOW WANT $50 FOR IT! It was $10 when I first got it.

What the hell Audeze!

Can find it for $25 from 3rd part sellers, but that's still a bit too much.

If you registered your original isine purchase you can apply the coupon code owner and it will drop to $10.

Humm, thanks. I'll have to check, I don't remember. Wish it read simpler.

Is this part of their effort to only sell accessories to those who own one of their headphones. Like, not wanting to sell the pads to Monolith M1060 owners. Seems like a counterintuitive business practice.

Yes pretry much. As a Monolith m300 owner I and numerous other members were purchasing kits from Audeze to get replacement earclips and groovy scone tip's. After a couple months we noticed they raised the price and required a purchase verification for a reasonable price

Text Frank88 on here, he has a much better/stronger solution for these breakages, OR read back through the thread for the solution.Although used all day, I have not had anymore problems, with iSine,orM300.
