I've never heard the LCD-4 and I'm a bass head so I think I would love it.

Audeze had my CRBN last summer. They got it back to me pretty quick. Wasn't 21 days.

LCD 4 is a better overall headphone imo. Bass thicker and more impactful on 4 but CRBN has the more textured and defined bass.

I paid on Friday just waiting for the UPS package to get there per tracking should be this week at some point

My CRBN got there Friday. Didn't think it would be this fast a turnaround.

In my case I did not. My CRBN was delivered to Audeze Friday, checked in this morning and they send me an invoice.

They just sent me an invoice so I paid it. The headphones should be there very soon so I'm guessing they were just getting it out of the way in advance

Mine should arrive at Audeze today. Looking forward to the upgrade. I’ve really enjoyed the original. I bought mine about a month after release.

My package was just delivered to Audeze and signed off so I guess it was a bug where it was showing no signature on the site or maybe Audeze reached out and helped me out. Either way now I can calm down and wait since I was worried about the shipping

Lots of traffic on the CRBN2 thread…but wanted to give a shout out to the OG CRBN. I tried out the CRBN2 in October vs my OG at an audio show and decided to keep the OG because I didn’t feel the incremental bass performance (without eq) was worth the upgrade program, especially with our depreciating Canadian $. After a 2 month hiatus from my OG because of work/life, my goodness the OG is awesome, in particular with @crinacle Crinacle’s eq. I think with the eq (I know not everyone is into eq), it transforms the OG’a bass and soundstage…and it sounds pretty well like the CRBN2 from my memory.

Perhaps you should give another go at CRBN2, with a quieter environment and an ideal setup. The bass is a massive improvement from OG CRBN, very visceral and tactile, while there’s a slight increase in resolution and a much better tonal balance. And this is all without EQ. I used to use Bob Katz EQ for my OG CRBN, but it’s no longer necessary.
