I gave an RA-1 a long audition and thought it excellent in all respects. I wish someone could say how what is "basically a cmoy" with "cheap components" works so well.

simply a case where someone took the time to actually listen while designing the amp instead of designing from data sheets , current trends and what should sound good

I had the RA1 with my Grados.Dead silent and sounded very nice together.I sold it as it was rather big for portable use,at least for me
