Does anyone have a blowout view of the driver design for both Atticus and Eikon? I like to geek out on driver technology. Specially dynamic drivers, since it's the most common type of implemented technology, and I find most of the innovative and competitive designs here. We see other companies do this all the time, even Mr.Speakers are more candid about their driver designs now. The recent
headfi interview of Nicolas Debard of Focal talks in great detail about their loud speaker design approach is really fascinating and really makes good case for why they priced their headphones that way.
Edit: Never mind, he's updated his website.
Ok, in terms of design, seems all the interesting designs are found in the bio-cellulose driver.
The TPE driver seems too generic for me, underwhelming even, especially for its price.
It's gonna be interesting to compare ZMF's new heaphones to
The Empiric headphone which Innerfedility himself has measured with favorable results, it's the same deal, an outsource dynamic driver and DIY custom housing and earcups.
