Hey - I appreciate the input, but this thread is a little over 2 years old at this point. Sorry. I actually have a pair of V6s now. The Audio-Technicas broke after a 2ft fall onto a rug.

You will like the V6. I used to own one years ago, and I have read that they have a tad more bottom presence(consumer oriented) than the 7506 which I now own. Other than that, identical responses.

Yeah, I've been enjoying them for close to a year now. Fabulous sound.
