Wonder why @JasonNYC would claim it’s using Android11 then
Maybe he was just misinformed by his support team when he asked?
It is impossible to find the results for my question due to too many false results, so if this has been asked, my apologies.
Where are the APK files downloaded by the "Download" option to update apps? They cannot be read, if found on the Download folder of the Service folder.
Indeed I cannot see most files within the SR25 itself besides the audio files. OR the folders are empty, and I am looking in the wrong place.
Sorry to complain, but I have to-there was an error while downloading the Qobuz file, and now it just states:
Parse error
There was a problem parsing the package
When trying to download it again, it assumes the file is there, and should be installed-no option to delete it or re-download it. Very silly flaw that should have been thought of when implementing this. And yes I know I can update them manually, as I used to do so. But the purpose of the Download Service is that I need not do that! If the software team doesn't see that as inadequate, I do not know what to tell you
Bet they won't care or read my post. I am away from my computer right now, so cannot connect via USB. A proper fix would have been to be able to easily access the auto-downloaded APK files, and make them delete-able within the SR25, so the program doesn't keep thinking it must install the faulty file. The Download program has lost all of its utility and purpose because of a bad APK file-at least concerning Qobuz.
Apologies for my tone above. Not very happy with the way it was programmed, not taking into considerations such real-life issues.

Hello,
Anyone purchased battery for SR25 from Aliexpress and happy with it? If so, can you send me link from the seller you are happy with?
Thank you.

@JasonNYC can you shed some light on not being able to download through the Apple Music app onto SR25 please? Currently loads of music showing in my library but when I click to download nothing at all happens (aside from the spinning icon briefly). Thanks in advance
Any additional information that you could provide would be extremely helpful. What is the version of the Apple Music app that you are using? If you are using an older version, have you tried installing a newer version? Saving to internal memory or microSD card?@JasonNYC can you shed some light on not being able to download through the Apple Music app onto SR25 please? So I’ve found a way by deleting the app and starting over and redownloading all my music. I downloaded version 4.5.20(beta) (I think, the SR25 is upstairs charging).Any additional information that you could provide would be extremely helpful. What is the version of the Apple Music app that you are using? If you are using an older version, have you tried installing a newer version? Saving to internal memory or microSD card?
There was initially a problem with trying to download that version prior to deleting and starting over, it just kept telling me it couldn’t be parsed.
Anyhow, problem solved, sort of, Apple Music has never really played nice on the SR25 but to be fair the latest version seems a bit more consistent

Hi all,
I've just tried to download Apple Music Classical via APK on the OG SR25 and can't seem to get it to show up on screen under OpenSource when I turn on the device. It seems that it should be compatible so I'm wondering if it's something stupid that I'm doing (entirely probable).
I have Apple Music working well and have installed APKs using OpenSource before (now deleted), so I can't quite figure out what the issue is.
If anyone knows of any issues/work arounds, any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

Apple classical is currently not on whitelist of apps supported. Hoping to add it soon.Hi all,

I believe it was power + ff and then rotate vol+ on the no command screen. I don't have SR25 to test...
The new SanDisk 1.5TB microSD cards have been tested with the entire AK player line from current all the way back to the AK120. The QA team confirmed no issues with 1.5TB microSD cards and players, including the SR25/SR25 MK II.

Next firmware update for SR25/SR 25 MK II will be around February 21. This firmware update will also add support for Apple Classical Music app.

Relevant (ish), are you aware of any stuttering issues when using Tidal? The download version.Next firmware update for SR25/SR 25 MK II will be around February 21. This firmware update will also add support for Apple Classical Music app.
I'm also getting the exact same issue with my SE300. Tracks stuttering randomly then Tidal crashes.
I can play the exact same tracklist via Qobuz with no problems at all.
I prefer Tidal so it's particularly frustrating, any information would be appreciated!
How much is the out of warranty battery replacement? Unbeknownst to me-as I rarely took it out of its leather case-my OG SR25 was developing a battery bulge, and last time I did take the case off, it was fine. Only realized the issue when it shut off. Was able to turn it on after a while, and shut off again, now in "dead" status. The battery was doing well for me-I never noticed a problem until these issues. No I do not leave it plugged in. Seems like that battery has run its course.
