I wanted to report Apple Music is crashing right after App Start. Versions tried 3.4.5 and 3.5.0. AK SE Firmware 1.57
Tried to reinstall but no difference.
Our dev team recommends app version 3.3.2 as the most stable version. A number of users are also reporting version 3.4.0 is also stable with no issues.

Yes 3.4.0 is the last working Version everything above is crashing right after start.

Quick update on firmware update to fix the embedded Tidal app.

Still on target for this month, but I still do not have a concrete release date. I was told last night there would be more info at the end of the week.

The following 13 models will receive firmware updates to fix the embedded Tidal issue in May:

SP2000, SP1000, SP1000M, SE200, SE180, SE100, KANN ALPHA, SR25, SA700, KANN CUBE, SR15, ACTIVO CT15, ACTIVO CT10.

The AK Connect app for iOS and Android will also be updated to fix the embedded Tidal issue. The updated apps will be available in the Apple and Google app stores after the player updates.

Update on Tidal app:

Thank you for your patience over the last month as Astell&Kern’s engineering and software development teams have been working hard to implement updates to the embedded Tidal app. As this is third-party software that needs to be integrated into more than a dozen different players, it has taken a bit of time to complete and test the updated firmware.

The new firmware is in the final stages of review by our partners and should be available within the next week or two once validated. We will begin rolling out the updated firmware model by model, so we ask that you please be patient as you wait for your model to receive the update. Please follow our social media pages, your regional dealers and distributors for additional updates on the firmware release.

Quick question I am trying out amazon music hd. Is the track quality reporting correct? For instance says player only capable of 24/44.1. Do the 24/96 and higher actually play at that resolution?

Theres a trick. If you got a 24/192kHz File just play that with the default Player before you open Amazon Music. Then you should se under Device Capability: 24/192kHz
This issue should be fixed with the next firmware.

I was having issues with qobuz being laggy. Nothing I did helped. Decided to try amazon and it works much better. Was anyone else having issues with qobuz?

Ok, so I'm having regular problems in editing my m3u playlist. I don't always want to add new music to the end of my playlist, so would rather edit them. I use Notepad++ and make sure that the line endings are correct and that the encoding is correct (UTF-8). I copy the playlist file out of the SE100 and insert the new files, making sure the path is the same as the others.

Whenever I copy the file back to the SE100, the entire file is wiped to 0 songs.

If I copy the first file back to the device, it also gets zapped to 0 songs.

I'm mounting the SE100 using MTP. What am I doing wrong here?
Has there been a solution posted for this issue? I can't seem to find any...

New firmware released for the SE100 (v. 1.61), SP1000 and SP1000M that fixes the login issues with the Tidal embedded app.

Hi, with the Lossless and Hi-Res options now enabled by Apple in Apple Music on their devices, and with the indications that it should also be available in the Apple Music 3.5.0 APK build, does anyone have an update on when the app crashing issue is going to be investigated/resolved? I have the same issue as others on my SE200 and I was really looking forward to using the new Apple Music Lossless streams on my A&K player.
