So how does the Se100 compare to the Sony WM1A on a sound quality level?

Interested to find an MQA file of some music that I listen to - just to see what the difference is.
Check out 7Digital Store. They have a pretty big selection of MQA albums. I believe they are only available for the UK and US.Interested to find an MQA file of some music that I listen to - just to see what the difference is.

Thanks. Horrible site... can't search by MQA, so having to randomly type in names of artists!
If anyone knows of anything in the "rock" genre...?
Yes, you can play MQA tracks that are loaded in internal memory and the player will do a full unfold.can i ask does the built in ak player support mqa, or is it only through tidal app

I was so happy with mine I returned them and got the sp1000M, price-matched to $2035! Now THAT's what's up!Started new thread from "Incoming......" now that folks are getting hands-on...
I guess I've had my SE100 for just over 3 weeks. I've spent many, many hours listening, and my overwhelming impression is more details and clarity. I'm not greatly gifted with the use of superfluous superlatives - just know that this is the most I've ever spent for gear besides my Noble Kaiser's, which I replaced with my A&K T8iEmkii's. So far, I'm very happy.

https://www.onkyomusic.com/ seems to have a reasonable selection (better than 7digital)... just deciding which album to buy again!
Actually, the Onkyo Music store is run by 7Digital and just has Onkyo branding on it.https://www.onkyomusic.com/ seems to have a reasonable selection (better than 7digital)... just deciding which album to buy again!

Interesting... there are things on Onkyo that aren’t on 7digital!
I usually get my music from Qobuz, so hoping they’ll move to MQA.

OK, so I now have Alice in Chains, Rainier Fog and Halestorm, Viscious in both AIFF and FLAC MQA. Verdict in the morning...

Why would you want Qobuz to move to MQA? Assuming both have the same sound quality, MQA is lossy and DRM and Qobuz HiRes are lossless FLAC which is open source without DRM. I don’t need the compressed file size of MQA and would prefer FLAC. The only reason I want MQA now is this is what Tidal Masters streams. But, once Qobuz has its North American launch, I will be looking at it closely as I don’t want a world where HiRes music is only streamed from a closed DRM codec.

I actually hadn’t appreciated MQA was lossy!!!
