Sorry, it was the middle of the night here when you made these two posts.

Try rebooting your router and if you have a separate access point, reboot that also.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago with the SP1000. The SP1000M and SE100 right next to it updated without issue, but for some reason the SP1000 did not. I had the same issue as you are having. I was told by our support team to try and reboot of my wifi and it worked.

still it did not work after rebooting wifi, i see it downloading and when downloading finishes it asks for reboot so i press ok, and i see it installing but when it reboots it stll says 1.11 firmware

Let me discuss with our support team and get back to you. As it is only 7 am in California, it will be an hour or two before they get into the office.

With the Open APK stuff (to install Spotify) do you need to remove an old version before installing a new version, or can you just overwrite the old one?
Do not delete the old version first. Copy over the new version of the app to the Openservice folder. Install the new version of the app from the Open APK section by clicking on the box with the down arrow. Once installed, the old version will move to the Opan APK section and the new version will keep all your settings. You can then delete that old version of the APK file from the Openservice folder when connected to a computer.

Tried that with both Qobuz and Spotify.

Qobuz worked a treat... Spotify had a fit. Had to re-install the version I had working (v8.4.81.558), install the intermediate version (v8.4.82.664) over the top of it, and then finally the latest version (v8.4.83.625) to get ti working.

hopefully there is something that can be done

my issue started even from before from trying to upgrade from 1.11 to 1.13, but i did not make of it so much but since now MQA is supported with 1.15 well then its a different story and i need this to be resolved

waiting for your suggestions, changing or turning off router did nothing so maybe there can be a manual update via usb to resolve this

Just finished discussing it with our US team. The only other thing that was suggested was to try a different Wi-Fi connection to rule out if it is a player issue or network issue.

We also escalated this to our development team. As it is the middle of the night in Korea, we will not have an answer until they are back in the office tomorrow. Are you running 1.11 CM or CN firmware?

Downloaded and installed the latest firmware update. Seemed to go well. I will be listening to it all day today so we shall see. My only complaint of late is more with the SiriusXM service than the device. It stalls frequently without any error message. Other times it stalls and reports it is due to network traffic and to try again later. This has been an issue since I installed the service several weeks ago. I suspect this has nothing to do with my SE100 and everything to do with SiriusXM. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this common with other services such as Tidal?

Thank you for the updated info. We will get it figured out. It may just take a day or two for our development team to research and get an answer.

"MQA playback is supported both via downloaded MQA audio files and through the embedded Tidal app, allowing users to stream high resolution audio via Tidal Masters."

Sorry for the noob question; so I am not listening to a MQA stream via the installed APK version of Tidal?

Correct. LG has an exclusive with Tidal at the moment. Their Android smartphones are the only devices that can access Tidal Masters MQA on the Android version of the Tidal app. Once that exclusive ends, you will be able to access Tidal MQA streams on any Android-based devices, including AK players.

The embedded Tidal app on our players is allowed to have MQA Tidal Masters, which is why it is only available when using the embedded and not the one APK version. The best quality you can get on the APK version is CD-quality.

That wasn't intuitively obvious to me. I suspect others have the same question.
May want to highlight in (edited) press release and social media postings.

Thanks for the update. I will let you know what our dev team says. They should be able to provide some info on what the issue is.
