Any status update on this bug? @JasonNYC
It was reported to our dev team, but no update yet. I will reach out again. A few of the US team is in Korea this week, so I will also ask for them to follow up in person and see if there is an update.

I would imagine, A&K not gonna issue fw update just for one bug. Instead, they will accumulate other fixes and tweaks to release an update when everything is ready.

Guys, I've got a question. Since I have 6V balanced jack, does it mean that I have all 6 V per channel?(I got SP2000) Looking to connect My Sony MDR-Z1R to balance because I think it lack of power in 3.5mm jack.

You only need 2.5V (@ 39 mA) to drive the MDR-Z1R to 120 dB/SPL, so the extra voltage over the 3.5mm connection isn't going to be particularly useful.

Having more headroom (and/or more current capacity) so the amplifier isn't running so close to its rails, might result in better sound, but you won't be listening at 6V even though that's per-channel.

That is 6 Vrms (root mean square) and not Peak to Peak power supply. That means in times of need, spikes or bursts needed by the music, the amp can actually provide more than 6 Volts to the phones.

Dear Astell&Kern team

I have problem when connect ak sp2000 to some external DACs, via usb, as Ayre, pioneer & RME ADI 2 pro fs to listen fullsize headphones Lcd 4 & Abyss Phi 1266.
Ayre & Pioneer is noise & lag when play with sp2000 via audio usb connection.
No signal in RME headphone output although Sp2000 recognised it as audio external usb and playing.
With same audio usb cable & ifi otg type C, I have no problem when connected SP2000 to Marantz NA11 S1. But NA11 S1 only 192kp.
I contacted RME, they confirm that problem is from AK SP2000, by RME playing normally with same usb and android otg cables with android smartphones
Please help to solve

Tks very much
