Not sure why, but I am excited for you to hear it...but they are well designed and beautifulAnd here it is ! The beauty in his own disguise, the magnificent impressionnant Sp 2000 Cu Tiger Ears property
Aside from the fact that it has 2X the power on balanced, it is more of a dynamic, lively sound....the word I am trying to use to summarize is escaping me, senior moment sorryOn my friend said that he read on the forums somewhere that people stated the 2.5 balanced is much more enhanced as sound vs the Se.
Is the difference that much dramatic?
Nice shots! Welcome to the club! And here it is ! The beauty in his own disguise, the magnificent impressionnant Sp 2000 Cu Tiger Ears property
You are now in the epic level DAP. Welcome to the club.So far I cant give an opinion as it has no burn in and I only have 3.5mm cable lol so my impressions are only on Se...
I can say this as a start and sound out of the box is very musical, good bass more then m8 and it has good slightly thick sound and yes more then m8.
To my ears sp2k cu is very close to a la 1z sound but more closer to a balanced audiophile tuning.
I cant really say more as I only listen for 1 hour out of the box
Few key features that I would use to describe the sound,
Natural warm sound
Super detailed good bass with a very good bump
Musical, I felt it was sucking me into the music
Very very black back ground and no hiss
Treble is not bright or pearcing so far and very enjoyable.
The sp2k sound is very smooth pleasant and with good quick fluidity in notes.
So far what I hear is a very very positive one for me. Cant wait to have my new dhc full copper for the sp2k with the 2.5mm jack

If he has cables with 4.4, he can get an adapterEnjoy it! Agree that it is closer to a balanced audiophile tuning than 1z. Less warm than 1z, more detailed and better soundstage... (but both incredibles) and yes, the balanced 2.5 output is better than 3.5 ...
Of course. He can do it tooIf he has cables with 4.4, he can get an adapter
