Placed my order for SP3000 today :) can’t wait to hear it!
Me also as well as the Odyssey. My SP1000 is getting a little long in the tooth. As a big EE fan that was inevitable.

The SP3K, I am so glad it has finally arrived, thank the good Lord AK doesn't upgrade their TOTL every 6 months to a year.

You are brave.😀
I’ve had two SP2000’s in the past (Cu & Onyx), absolutely loved them both for their sound and build quality, but eventually sold them due to the frustratingly slow UI and lack of a 4.4mm port.

SP3000 seems to have fixed both of those issues and added some other potentially useful features, so it’s a no-brainer for me. Yolo 😎

Initial reviews are up. Mostly glowing. Will be interesting to hear real world impressions on the forums.

I'm interested to see how the SP3k stacks up against a SP2k -> Cayin C9 set-up. I found the SP2k whilst incredibly detailed and neutral does benefit from the dynamic punch of a better amp. I run the C9 in Class A/SS mode.

Initial reports are the SP3k does just fine on it's own.

Just spoke to Jack at Empire Ears. This was his response when asked about Odyssey compared to Odin and EVO - "As far as comparisons go the Odyssey is the best thing we've tuned to date. It takes the best of what the Odin and EVO had to offer and cranks it up to an 11. Wider soundstage, better detail retrieval/imaging, more extended treble and a smoother upper mid-range for easy listening."
Now that's worth trying out. I'm really looking forward to this.
