@JasonNYC just a thought that occurred to me. If this is going to be the ongoing thread for discussion on the SP3000, should ‘SP3000’ be added to the thread title?

Of course that raises the question about the Odyssey. Right now it seems like most chat on that has moved to the EE board.

Because Roon ARC requires Android 9 or above, it's not going to work on the SP1000/SP1000M/SP2000 even if it gets whitelisted. It should work on the SP3000 if A&K adds it to the list.

@JasonNYC

Android versions for your DAPs, please? This is essential information when trying to sideload apks.

This is my guess (only the SR15, SR25, SP1000, and SP1000M are verified):

SA700, KANN CUBE, SR15 - Android 5
SP2000, SP1000, SP1000M, SE200, SE100 - Android 6
SP2000T, SE180, KANN MAX, KANN ALPHA, SR25MKII, SR25, CA1000 - Android 9?
SP3000 - ?
thank you. I am wondering ROON ARC can run on SP2K. Sadly know that it is not possible. However, it is a good reason to upgrade SP3K. haha. or AK can work with Roon with a special version of roon arc for SP2K later.

The Odyssey was one of my personal highlights from the show. A great mix of the bottom half of the Evo, top half of the Odin, and a true bone conduction experience.

Any comparison with the Odin in terms of technicalities?

Unfortunately no. I couldn't AB it as my Odin broke right before the show and I had to hand it off to Jack.

You can check watercooler thread and ask people like @HiFiHawaii808 but I think more intense comparisons will need to follow as soon as IEMs are available for real reviews rather than CanJam impressions.
The impressions I got from reading the impressions are as described by @Sebastien Chiu: Low end stronger than Odin but weaker than EVO, mids slightly warmer, more balanced upper mids and nice detailed treble without getting harsh, so overall smoother than Odin with more bass but told to have same detail though.
Very good impressions post I ve bookmarked is this one for example is from @discord https://www.head-fi.org/threads/the...n-first-page-all-welcome.957426/post-17152816
