Can i use ak like a transport with otg cable to my dac? Can i detach ak380amp before connecting by otg to dac

Not too big, i did it and my ak380 plays as a transport, after i connected the otg cable and synchronised with my dac, but i still dont know what about mode in ak380 menu - dac or mtp? Or it is not affect on sound?

Connect to your DAC using the excellent optical output in the 3.5mm socket.

Can't remember precisely the setting, but volume is auto set to 150 when used as a transport - google the instruction manual.

Hi,

I tried to charge my AK380 which has not been used for a long time but it just could not work. I tried to reset it but it also did not work.

I got screen with the logo for a split second and nothing happens thereafter.

can some advise on what could be wrong?Battery or the charging ic?

Could just be the battery - it's fairly easy to change but getting hold of the correct one is difficult.

Recommend leaving it plugged in and charging for at least 24 hours if it has been a long time since it was used or charged.

If no, maybe battery issue, if yes but can't switch on, maybe broken unit.

But more likely to be battery.

Hi, it showed a fully charged battery symbol. When I pressed to switch it on, the “A” logo appeared momentarily and nothing happens after that.

I sent my AK380 in for a battery replacement (expanding battery) - it was @ $100. It took almost three weeks round trip, but came back working perfect!
