No worries I will try it with another usb cable and see what happens, thank you for your help.
Probably a dumb question, but are you connecting to the amp or the AK380cu?

To the amp connected to the ak380 cu, but I have good news!, now it works, the problem came from the usb cable supplied with the ak380 cu, this makes me quiet angry, you spend thousands of € and you get poor quality usb cable, this should'nt happen Astell&Kern!.
Two weeks ago I bought a new charger for a samsung s4, so I gave the supplied usb cable a try and connected it to the amp and voilà!! it worked!!
Thank's for the help!
is this another april fools day hoax as last year? What? is this honestly true? a AK400 release june 1st 2016?i just placed an order for my AK380 copper today!!!
Relax and enjoy the AK380 copper. It's just wishful thinking.
Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder what accounting system they use at AK. Seems there are an awful lot of AK380cu for what I thought was a 500 piece run.
If my friend wasn't having such a hard time selling his AK380, I'd be tempted to join you.
Just saying and doing the maths, it is quite a hard sale BUT
380 Cu 500 x $5,000 = $2,500,000
Cu Amp 500 x $1,000 = $500,000
$3 million retail sales numbers, on top of the sales of the stock 380......impressive especially since we are such a niche market..............Pretty good in my books if they could achieve the majority of the Cu units over a few months.
Hong Kong has depleted most of the Cu stock it was given.
mmm.........AK USB cable failed? The supplied USB cable with my Chord TT also failed (to connect). That's why I use ALO Audio USB Green line. It works perfectly every time.
ALO Audio USB cables - seem to have really good build, tight fit ports!
